The Conference is held in memory of Professor James Stirling, the first Director of the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP), associated to the University of Durham, UK. It overlaps with a meeting of PDF4LHC, which is a forum for developments on the understanding of the structure of the proton.
